It all began in the spring of 1998 when I, Nick Rosato, saw an opportunity to lease space on our vacant land located at 1705 S. Peachtree Road; thus Local Truck Parking was born. Soon after the first few leases were signed we began to develop the remaining vacant property, and ultimately were able to successfully lease to 100% occupancy.

Our next expansion came in 2005 when we purchased the property adjacent to us at 1633 S. Peachtree Road, and developed to the same standards as our original parking facility. Immediately following the 2005 expansion, we purchased an additional 6.5 acres of property just 1 mile south of our current facilities at 3315 S. Peachtree Road. Following this purchase we divided the property development into two phases, the first being completed in 2006, and the second in 2011; once phase two was complete the demand for truck parking was higher than ever.

In 2012 we took advantage of the opportunity to purchase the property due west of our 1705 S. Peachtree Road facility at 11305 Limestone Drive. Though this property was only a quarter of an acre in size, it provided us with an extra nineteen parking spaces and helped us supply the extant demand. Additionally, in the winter of 2013/2014 we enhanced the property at 3315 S. Peachtree Road with the construction of a 1,000’ long x 80’ wide concrete driveway; this driveway is the new design staple for our future growth.

Currently, we operate 3 first class truck parking facilities that are each located in Balch Springs, Texas, adjacent to Mesquite, Texas. Plans for our future parking facility locations are in the works.
